It's Tree Time

Hark the Angels sing, the time has come for Christmas. Here's to my favorite part of the holidays, the tree! This Christan holiday is nothing without the ever so symbolic Pagan influnced Christmas tree. Adalina first eyed the tree and inspected the new addition to the house. Then she touched the branches and smiled. I think we have a keeper. With Christmas music pumping on the stereo, we decorated the tree. This tree was certified as Eco-friendly by an independent auditor and sold to us on a social entrepreneurship development lot. With no snow and no massive advertisting campagins, the trees in people's windows are the only reminder the holidays are here. Cheers to decking the halls and hearing the Angels sing!

Gobble gobble gobble

Turkey time in San Francisco this year meant a live crab boil. We spent the day taking a walk in the neighborhood and enjoying time with friends.

This year we are thankful for having so much! Our family has grown in so many ways. Fausto and I got married, Elijah relocated to San Francisco and the Cookie was born. With our family we spent time giving thanks to all of the love and joy that we enjoy and appericate in our lives.  Our life is so wonderful because we have all of you in it. So this year we give thanks to you. Funny, it really is the little moments that make life worth living. Much love and happiness to everyone.  Happy thanksgiving. Hug yourself from us. Heres to the crab!!!

Balancing Act

Adalina loves heights and firmly believes that she should be at eye level with everyone. Not only does she smile and laugh high in the air but she also keeps both arms out to balance herself. Yep, she is a self taught soon-to-be tight rope artist. She also spends a lot of her time practicing the art of conversation. Don't be fooled by her drooling bubbles, she has got something on her mind and it needs to get out. I think it's Grandma Fager's genes in her.

Breakfast with Enzo

My name is Adalina and I heart Breakfast with Enzo. Every Saturday I wake up my Papi and I enjoy a couple football games. We usually watch the Bundesliga and then watch the La Liga or Barclays Premier League before my Mom wakes up and clicks off the tv. Afterwards we walk over to the neighborhood community center for a music concert, Breakfast with Enzo. We sing songs, dance around and have a rocking good time. Check out the video.

Welcome!

Hello there and welcome to Adalina's blog spot. We have decided to join the cyber masses and document our daughters development with all of you on the web. The intention of the site is to share photos, videos and special moments in our little girl's life.

Our Cookie-ale-uke is growing everyday and exploring her new world. She may look like her Papi but she sure acts like her Momma. She loves being out on the town and not in her stinking stroller but rather up high in the baby carrier. As we swagger about town I can hear her squealing in delight as we explore our world.

Enjoy our blog and follow our Cookie aka Adalina as she grows and grows and crawls and runs and takes over the world! Girl power! Go get em gggrrrlll!
